Guild Rules

Raid Times
Our raid times are as follows: (All times are Server Time, and invites start 20 minutes before raid start)
Monday - 20:00 - 23:30
Tuesday - 20:00 - 23:30
Wednesday - 20:00 - 23:30
Thursday - 20:00 - 23:30
Friday - 20:00 - 23:30
Saturday - No Scheduled Raid
Sunday - 20:00 - 23:30

Raid Attendance:
As of now, from the date that you were first recognised on the DKP site, ALL members must achieve a raid attendance of over 60%. If you fail to keep your attendance above 60%, you might be bumped down to the INACTIVE rank, where you will be given 2 weeks to improve your activity. Failing to do so could result in your removal from the guild. Exceptions to this rule are people that have talked with an officer or their class leader about the reasons for their inactivity (such as on-off night shifts, vacations etc).

Signing up for raids:
From now onwards, ALL members must sign up on the raid planner if they wish to attend a raid. This is due to the increased amount of competition we now have for raid spots, with the raid planner helps we can organise who can and can't make the raid, and who should swap places etc.

Signing up does not GUARANTEE you a spot on the raid, but it does guarantee you the CHANCE to get a spot on the raid. The people who attend will be decided using the raid planner, and by the class/raid leader at the time of the raid.

Staying in a Raid:
All people who sign up are expected to stay for the entire raid, unless it runs over the raid end time (11:30-00:00). People who are signed up to attend and do not stay for the entire raid, will not recieve ANY DKP for the raid. If you inform your raid leader, or put a note on the raid planner saying that you cannot attend the full raid, that is fine, as long as someone knows. Note that if you cannot attend a full raid (even with prior notice), you are unlikely to be offered a spot as swapping people in and out is often disruptive and time consuming to the raid. This will hopefully stop people signing up and attending til 22:00 (for example) and leaving without anyone knowing prior to the raid, leaving the raid leader having to find a replacement.

If you have to leave a raid due to unforeseen circumstances, this is acceptable, but bear in mind that too many "unforeseen circumstances" will look rather suspicious!

Going AFK mid-raid:
If you are AFK in the middle of a raid while we are not on a short break, you will be removed and replaced after 5 minutes of being flagged AFK (most raid/party frame mods say the length of time you have been afk for) and will only earn NO DKP (and could potentially get a DKP penalty). It isn't hard to get rebuffed and pulling again withing 5 minutes of a wipe being called, so anything that disrupts that is unacceptable.

Raid Preparation:
You MUST have Omen installed.
You MUST have Ventrilo installed. The server supports version 3.0 and Mac clients, so everyone is expected to be on there and able to listen. A mic is optional, you are not required to have one, though it is recommended.
You MUST have BigWigs or Deadly Boss Mods installed. This applies to everyone, including all DPS classes and healers.
You MUST be prepared to install whatever extra addons the Raid Leader requires.
You MUST have always in your bags any pots, elixirs, flasks, sharpening stones, oils, poisons, food with stats or whatever exists that increases your class abilities. You MUST use it when the Raid Leader asks you to. Repeated failure to do so means that the Raid Leader is free to replace you with someone better prepared.

Loot:

Several items here -

Initiates/Inactive:
Any guildee who has the inactive or initate status will NOT be allowed to roll or bid on an item unless no full member in the raid needs it. This is to stop the instances where we invite new members to the guild (or demote them to inactive since they can't attend 60% of the raids) and gear them up, only to find they do not make member status, and run away with free loot.

Alternative specs:
I know this goes without saying, and most people adhere to these rules, however - gathering gear for alternative talent specs is perfectly acceptable, IF noone needs it for their main spec. For example, say i wanted to bid on a helm that is good for a hunter/enh shaman and a hunter wanted the item also - since i'm in the guild as a resto shaman, i would need to pass so that the hunter can benefit more from the item than myself. The same rule applies to the tier tokens.

Any questions about these rules, please post them here (Members only). Please be sure to read through the current questions and answers before posting your own.
